Free Friends - Save Me

Baltimore-based pop punk trio Free Friends are back at it again with new track Save Me: delivering melancholic lyricism with punchy early 2000s vibes. Produced by Matt Malpass & featuring Kyle from Makeout, this collab is everything any pop punk purist loves. Fans of Blink 182, Neck Deep and Yellowcard, Save Me will welcomingly earworm its way into your heads.
Raw emotion explodes throughout instantly catchy lyrics: “And it feels like/My life has gone to waste/ Doesn't matter anyway/Won't someone come save me”. It’s refreshing to see lyrics that handle the complexities of mental and emotional struggle in such an approachable way.

Save Me by Free Friends is an instant classic Pop Punk anthem, with a perfect combo of catchy melodies, driving drums and cheeky cello elements- all create a great standout single. You’ll want to start learning the lyrics and getting familiar with this track ahead of their full length that’ll be
dropping in Spring. It’s a bold statement but in all honesty, Save Me really would not be out of place on a Blink release and that is no mean feat to achieve. Save Me is the ultimate mix of nostalgic and innovative, tirelessly energetic and honest. New and old fans alike will be very, very pleased with Free Friend’s offering and I’m certain will be eager to see what they have up their sleeve next.
